Internship – Communication & Employer Branding

What are you going to do?

During this internship, you’ll contribute to a key part of our employer branding strategy: the Nedap Journey. This journey represents the full employee experience at Nedap – from the very first interaction to the final goodbye. You’ll help us take a deep dive into two crucial stages of this journey:

  • Grow & Contribute: employees grow within their role, contribute to team and company goals, and take ownership of their development.
  • Retain & Engage: employees feel connected and appreciated and choose to stay at Nedap.

You’ll conduct research among employees, analyze communication and interaction moments, develop personas, and create visual journey maps. Based on your findings, you’ll formulate concrete recommendations for improving communication and the overall experience. If time allows, you can expand the assignment to include additional stages of the journey.

"Not just an internship where you tag along, but one where you truly contribute. We’re building something exciting, and as an intern, you’re a full part of it!" – Nadia Piek (Employer Branding & Communications Specialist at Nedap)

Your responsibilities

  • Interviews: conduct interviews with employees to gain insights into their needs, ambitions, and experiences.
  • Personas: create representative profiles that reflect different types of employees in these stages.
  • Touchpoints: analyze which moments of interaction employees experience during these phases and how they perceive them.
  • Experience: map out emotions, expectations, and goals per phase.
  • Journey maps: translate your findings into clear and visual journey overviews for each persona and phase.
  • Recommendations: provide concrete improvement suggestions for communication, experience, and interaction.
