What are you going to do?

Join our R&D team as an intern, where you will explore new methods and technologies across various applications, including positioning, filtering, and classification methods. This opportunity is open to students, and specific assignments will be tailored to align with your profile and mutual ambitions. 

Your responsibilities

  • Develop: You will develop algorithms and deploy them in specific programming languages;
  • Design: You will design, evaluate, and validate solutions in real-world scenarios;
  • Participation: You will actively participate in a small R&D team.

You will be part of a sub team within the Livestock Management business unit, tasked with generating innovative ideas and solutions for next-generation products.

Our offer

As an intern or graduation project student at Nedap, you can work either remotely or on our amazing campus in Groenlo, in consultation with your team. The choice is yours. You will have plenty of space to take the lead in your assignment, with personal leadership and individual responsibility being central. You will collaborate with passionate professionals from whom you can learn a lot.

As a token of our appreciation for your efforts, we organize a 'Nedap Student Day' every six months, a fun day with all interns, graduation project students, and working students at Nedap. Additionally, we offer a monthly internship or graduation project allowance ranging between €325 and €650 per month. If the collaboration is mutually satisfactory, there is a chance for a job at Nedap. Many students have stayed after their assignment!

Required experience and skills

You have a passion for applied data science, have creativity and problem-solving skills. You are able to work independently with a proactive attitude. In addition, you meet the following criteria:
  • Education: Bachelor or master's in engineering (e.g., embedded electronics, mechatronics), computer science/software engineering, or applied physics/mathematics;
  • Skills: Proficiency in coding (Python/Matlab) and generic software engineering tools (e.g., Git)

We expect you to be available in Groenlo for at least 2 days a week.
