During your internship, you’ll become a true member of our enthusiastic and close-knit development team. Together, we create innovative software used by thousands of people every day. Collaboration, knowledge sharing, and having fun while coding are at the heart of what we do. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, make mistakes, and grow into a confident developer.
You’ll help fix bugs, improve existing features, and develop new ones — using modern technologies such as Java/Kotlin, Spring, GraphQL, TypeScript, Angular, Kafka, and Docker.
Our team works in an Agile/SCRUM environment, meaning you’ll take part in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and reviews while gaining hands-on experience in real-world software development.
Your responsibilities
- Develop new features: contribute to the creation of new software functionalities.
- Improve existing code: support maintenance, optimization, and bug fixing.
- Ensure code quality: write and improve (unit) tests.
- Collaborate effectively: participate in code reviews and work with colleagues from development, QA, and product management.
- Think proactively: suggest technical improvements and help enhance our tools and processes.

Our offer
As an intern or graduation project student at Nedap, you can work either remotely or on our amazing campus in Groenlo, in consultation with your team. The choice is yours. You will have plenty of space to take the lead in your assignment, with personal leadership and individual responsibility being central. You will collaborate with passionate professionals from whom you can learn a lot.
As a token of our appreciation for your efforts, we organize a 'Nedap Student Day' every six months, a fun day with all interns, graduation project students, and working students at Nedap. Additionally, we offer a monthly internship or graduation project allowance ranging between €325 and €650 per month.
Required experience and skills
We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and enjoys learning new things. You ask questions, share your ideas, and like working together to find the best solution.
You bring:
- Education: you’re currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Programming: basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (preferably Java or Kotlin).
- Web development: interest in modern front-end frameworks (such as Angular or React) and API integration.
We ask that you are available to work at our office in Groenlo at least three days per week.
