What are you going to do?

Do you get energy from complex analysis and turning data into actionable insights and advice? At Nedap Livestock, we’re looking for a curious and analytical person to strengthen our Market Intelligence (MI) team. Together with the team, you’ll provide valuable insights that directly contribute to strategic decisions and innovation within Livestock.

In this role, you’ll work on a variety of challenging projects where your analytical skills and fresh perspective will be central. Whether it’s gathering market information, analyzing data, or implementing new tools—your work ensures that Nedap stays ahead in a dynamic, international market.

Your responsibilities

As a working student, you’ll contribute to various projects, including:

  • Market Research: Conducting desk research into our core markets and translating data into clear reports;
  • Analysis: Gathering and summarizing market information relevant to the dairy farming sector and converting it into valuable insights;
  • Communication: Creating an internal newsletter with quarterly insights and relevant studies;
  • Tools and Innovation: Researching, testing, and implementing new tools for surveys and video interviews;
  • Feedback and Improvement: Collecting and analyzing feedback from colleagues on the impact and use of Market Intelligence within Nedap.

Market Intelligence is a new discipline within our market group and plays a crucial role in driving data-driven strategic decisions and innovations. By creating insights into market developments, end-user experiences, and partner feedback, MI supports all disciplines within our market group—from commercial teams to R&D—in making informed decisions and driving innovation.

You’ll have the opportunity to contribute by analyzing data, translating insights, and making an impact at various levels within the company. Together, we’re building a future where data inspires and provides direction.

Our offer

As a working student at Nedap, you can work either remotely or on our amazing campus in Groenlo, in consultation with your team. The choice is yours. You will have plenty of space to take the lead in your tasks. Personal leadership and individual responsibility are central, even for students! You will collaborate with passionate professionals from whom you can learn a lot.

As a token of our appreciation for your efforts, we organize a 'Nedap Student Day' every six months – a fun day with all other interns, graduation project students, and working students at Nedap. You will receive a neat monthly salary, depending on your age, tasks, and (study) experience.

Required experience and skills

You’re naturally curious and have a critical eye for identifying relevant information. You don’t settle for the first opinion or source of information but instead explore different perspectives to get a complete picture. You ask the right questions to clarify complex issues and translate them into valuable and clear insights.

Additionally, you identify with the following:

  • Education: You’re pursuing an HBO or university-level degree, such as Business Administration, Business Intelligence, or a related field, with a focus or specialization in data analysis or strategy;
  • Experience: You have experience with data analysis and market research, gained through academic projects, internships, or work experience, and can translate data into actionable insights;
  • Affinity with: Tools, methodologies, and (preferably) interview techniques to collect and analyze data and translate it into relevant insights.

You’re available for 10 to 16 hours per week, including at least one day in the office in Groenlo.
