- Security Management
Are you a student who wants to gain experience in maintaining and developing products in the security management industry and your heart and ambition lies in technology? Then this might be your chance!
Security is a basic need for people, at home and at work. The Nedap Security Management market group provides technology for access control, intrusion detection and locker management so that everyone can work with more pleasure and success. People really come into their own when they know their security is in expert hands.
Within this role you will work on our AEOS access control system where controllers and RFID readers are a very important part. You will reinforce the hardware engineering team with your knowledge and you will contribute to keeping our product portfolio operational and possibly working on new products that we might develop in the future.
Your first assignment will be to independently search for alternative components in the current market shortage. Of course the hardware engineering team will provide you with support and assistance. Specifically, this will mean:
- Search for readily available alternative components and make proposals;
- Supervise PCB modifications;
- Assessing prototypes;
- Perform EMC testing under supervision;
- Finalizing and updating our PLM system.
The team you will be working in consists of hardware engineers, firmware engineers and embedded software engineers. Work is done on an Agile/Scrum basis. It is a diverse team of less to more experienced engineers where everyone is there for each other.
You can work from home or at our cool campus in Groenlo, the choice is yours. Of course, you will receive a monthly stipend in the form of salary and you are welcome to attend the 'Nedap Student Day' which is organized every six months. This is a great way to get in touch with interns, graduates and working students from other market groups within Nedap.
Required experience and skills
You are currently pursuing an (Applied) University degree in the direction of Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Technical Informatics. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following points:
