We are looking for a working student Software Development for our Innovation team of Nedap Healthcare as of September 2023. Are you still studying and would you like to gain some work experience? Then read on!
As a working student Software Development you will be working with the Luna, a digital calendar that helps to easily structure people's lives. For example for people with - an early form of - dementia. The product is already on the market and has proven its value. Now it is time to professionalize. You will, therefore, play an important role in adding new features and nice to haves to our product. In this way we try to increase customer value and make it more complete.
Your tasks will include:
- Improving and modernizing features;
- Improving readability;
- Adding new screen layouts;
- Creating links to internal systems.
The Innovation team is a young team in which you can work independently and are given a lot of responsibility right away. Together with your sales and development colleagues you will guide the product in this new phase of scaling up. The product and the work processes are not yet set in stone; therefore we are looking for someone who is self-organizing and can work independently.
As a working student at Nedap, you can work both remotely and at our cool campus in Groenlo. Of course, you will do this in consultation with your team and what the possibilities are depends a bit on your activities, but the choice is yours. You also get plenty of room to "take the lead" in your assignment. Personal leadership and taking personal responsibility are central and as far as we are concerned, that also applies to students! You will work with enthusiastic professionals who have a lot of knowledge, experience and expertise and from whom you can learn a lot.
To thank you for your efforts, we also organize a 'Nedap Studentday' every six months, especially for you. A super fun day with all the other interns, graduates and working students at Nedap.
Naturally, you will receive your monthly salary at Nedap. This is determined on the basis of your age, activities and relevant (study) experience. Like it on both sides? Many students stay with us after their work placement!
Required experience and skills
We are looking for an enthusiastic student who recognizes himself in the following points:
- You are pursuing an HBO or WO degree in Software Development or Computer Science;
- You have experience with programming in Kotlin;
- You are available 8 to 16 hours per week;
- You are fluent in both Dutch and English;
- Affinity with hardware development is an advantage.
