Salary

When you join Nedap, not only will you receive your monthly salary, but also an extra 13th-month bonus in January. And that’s not all. Every team member gets to be part of the company’s profit sharing program. We believe in sharing the success, so 6.5% of the (potential) total profit from the previous financial year is distributed among our employees. You have the freedom to choose how you want to receive your share: hard cash, discounted stock certificates (with a sweet bonus of 25% extra certificates after 4 years), or a combination of both options. But there’s more. If Nedap exceeds its profit goals, we’re not only giving out profit shares, but also rewarding our dedicated workforce with an additional 40% of that surplus profit in the form of stock certificates.

Did we mention that Nedap has its very own Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) with attractive salary scales? Year after year, we make sure you’re recognized for your hard work by bumping up your salary with regular increments until you reach the highest point in your salary scale. We’re all about rewarding talent and dedication here at Nedap!

Profit-sharing scheme and the (Additional) Participation Plan

Close

Nedap offers a profit-sharing scheme (CAO 2.18) and participation plans to its employees. 6.5% of the annual profit (before taxes) generated in Groenlo is distributed among the employees working in Groenlo, ensuring that each employee receives an equal gross amount. You have the option to either receive this amount as a cash payout or use the net portion of this distribution to purchase Nedap share certificates, or a combination of both. You will receive an email from the management, allowing you to indicate your choice through the personal platform provided by Captin B.V. The share certificates can be obtained with a 10% discount on the market price on December 31st of the previous year. After four years, the certificates can be sold at market value. For every 4 certificates, Nedap grants an additional bonus certificate after 4 years, provided you are still employed by Nedap. When Nedap decides to distribute dividends, this applies to the certificate holders as well. The profit-sharing is paid out in March and the amount is calculated proportionally based on your employment duration during the year. The (Additional) Participation Plan (NPP) is implemented to give Nedap employees more influence when fundamental decisions are made regarding the company’s direction and future. The opportunity to become a shareholder aligns with the entrepreneurial spirit expected from Nedap employees.

The Nedap Additional Participation Plan (NAPP) is an employee participation scheme designed for all Nedap employees worldwide. The NAPP applies to all Nedap employees with either fixed-term or permanent employment contracts globally. The aim of the NAPP is to strike a sustainable balance between the entrepreneurial spirit expected from employees and the opportunity for employees to share in above-average results achieved by Nedap.

The NAPP pays out when Nedap achieves greater profit growth than a predetermined value, set at the beginning of each year by the management and supervisory board. If Nedap meets this value, 40% of the profit above this threshold is distributed among the employees. This threshold is based on a 5% growth compared to the average EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes), excluding exceptional items, of the previous three years, with a compounded annual growth rate of 5%.

The distribution of profits is based on profit-sharing rights. Each year, as an employee, you receive profit-sharing rights. The number of profit-sharing rights is determined by dividing your gross monthly salary by 1000. Profit-sharing rights have a duration of 3 years, after which they expire. The only relevant number of profit-sharing rights is your total at the end of December each year. When the NAPP is paid out for that year, you receive the share of profit corresponding to your profit-sharing rights in the form of certificates. The total number of profit-sharing rights is stated on your payslip. Some subsidiary companies may have adjusted NAPP arrangements based on regional laws and regulations.
