What are you going to do?
At Nedap, we believe in Technology for Life: technology that supports people, not the other way around. Within Nedap in Healthcare, we develop solutions that make the work of healthcare professionals lighter, more meaningful and more efficient. MediKIT is part of our Healthcare business unit.
MediKIT is a web-based SaaS general practitioner information system that helps GPs and assistants focus on what truly matters: delivering care. Originally developed independently and now part of Nedap, we combine the speed and flexibility of a small team with the stability and scale of a larger organization.
As a Customer Autonomy Specialist, you help MediKIT users become self-reliant. You ensure they are aware of what’s new, understand how everything works, and know exactly what to do when something goes wrong—without having to depend on direct support from us. You design processes, tools and information in such a way that users become increasingly independent. In doing so, you contribute directly to better primary care, working within an agile team backed by the stability and strength of Nedap.
Your responsibilities
- Analyze user questions: identify recurring issues and translate them into structural solutions;
- Increase user autonomy: design and implement tools, processes and content that help users move forward independently;
- Improve onboarding: contribute to clear and effective onboarding for new users;
- Collaborate with development: identify barriers in the user experience and work together to remove them;
- Implement smart solutions: such as AI tools or smart workflows to reduce dependency on support;
- Stay close to users: daily contact via email and phone to understand what’s happening in practice.
Your team
Within Healthcare, Team MediKIT is a special and warm place to work. We regularly play padel together and organize fun team outings.

Required experience and skills
As a Customer Autonomy Specialist, you have a growth mindset: you see change and growth as positive and take initiative independently. At the same time, you communicate easily and feel responsible for helping others move forward. You get energy from solving problems structurally—you think in terms of solutions, tooling and systems that enable users to work independently and efficiently.You also recognize yourself in the following:
- Education level: you think and work at least at bachelor’s (HBO) level;
- Language skills: you are fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
- Systems thinking: you think in structures and interconnections, not just individual fixes;
- Digital skills: you enjoy working with tools, processes and digital environments;
- Work experience: you have several years of work experience and proven experience with tooling.
