Livestock Management
As a Data Scientist, you and your team are responsible for finding valuable insights. You will dive into the enormous amount of data that our wireless sensors, SmartTags, collect 24/7 worldwide and you will convert this data into relevant information for dairy farmers. You know how to solve the different needs and issues by using Data Science and Machine Learning. Ultimately, you bring the trained models and solutions into production and help integrate them into our products and software solutions. You will contribute to the professional growth of the Data-Science team and help your teammates get a step further with your insight into State-Of-The-Art algorithms and solutions.
Your team
You will be working in the Smart Tag development team of Livestock Management. Where we work with raw sensor data from dairy cattle. The unpredictable behavior of dairy cattle gives a nice and varied challenge. Working with animals is different every day. Besides working closely with your direct data-science colleagues, you work in a multidisciplinary team including hardware engineers, (embedded) software developers and test engineers.Our offer

- You have a completed HBO/WO education, preferably with many Data Science interfaces (e.g. Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science);
- You have experience in a similar role as a Data Scientist or a very solid Data Science education;
- Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks are not just keywords for you, but you can actually apply the techniques to arrive at new solutions for our customers;
- It is an advantage if you have experience with software development and timeseries data.
