As Embedded Software Developer you are closely involved in the design process of controllers, actuators and sensors. In this process you work closely together with our hardware engineers and testers. Together you will make choices regarding the architecture of these products, take care of the technical specification of the embedded software, implement it and guarantee the delivery of complete software. Depending on the production testing strategy, you implement internal hardware tests yourself or you are the point of contact for colleagues who make separate functional and final tests for our products.
Your team
You will be working in the Vpack team. A team of about 7 people with embedded software developers, hardware engineers, application software developers, product owners and test engineers. Agile work on our products is done in multidisciplinary teams.
Our offer
Of course, we offer excellent primary and secondary conditions. For example, you are responsible for your own working hours and vacations. No one keeps track of this; we rely on your own responsibility in this regard. In addition, we offer you the means to fulfill your responsibilities. Financially, things are also well organized here. In addition to your salary and vacation pay, Nedap has a 13th month, a profit distribution and the possibility of shares. We also have a very attractive pension scheme. But above all, we invest in your development! Nedap has no pots for your development. In addition to our extensive induction program and personal development program, we are happy to look at your potential with you.Required experience and skills
Communicatively, you are highly skilled and can work well together. Much of the work is done together and/or in consultation. You can keep an overview and know how to structure your work. You also enjoy going into the field every now and then.- You have at least two years of experience in a similar role as Embedded Software Developer and a completed HBO or WO education such as Embedded Systems or Electrical Engineering;
- You have a solid knowledge of C in combination with microcontrollers;
- You can read and interpret electronic schematics;
- You have experience working with a Real-time operating system, SPI, CAN, I2C and TCP/IP;
- Experience with Agile (Scum) is a nice plus.
