New applications are constantly being developed for our innovative automation solutions. In our IoT environment we ensure that animal behaviors, such as feeding times and feed intake, measured by our low power wearables, among others, are converted into relevant information for the farmer and processes are automated.
In the position of Embedded Software Developer you are closely involved in the design process of controllers, actuators and sensors. Together with our hardware engineers, you make choices regarding the architecture of these products, you will take care of the technical specification of the embedded software, you will implement it and you will guarantee the delivery of complete software. Depending on the production test strategy you will implement internal hardware tests or you are the contact person for colleagues who make separate functional and end tests for our products.
Your team
Within the team of R&D you will work closely with other embedded software developer colleagues, hardware engineers, application software developers, product owners and test engineers. Multidisciplinary teams work on our products on a project basis.

You have a completed a HBO or WO education such as Embedded Systems or Electrical Engineering and you have a solid knowledge of C in combination with microcontrollers and digital signal processing. You have an interest in hardware, also in combination with radio communication and you are able to read and interpret electronic schematics. Furthermore, knowledge of web techniques, such as JavaScript, CSS and HTML, is an advantage.You also recognize yourself in the following:
- You have a good technical background;
- You work in a structured way;
- You are a good communicator;
- You are able to maintain a clear overview.
For this position it is required that you speak Dutch.
