We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our Nedap team in our US office located in Burlington MA.
As a Finance Manager at Nedap Inc., you will oversee all financial operations, including developing financial statements and analyzing key metrics to ensure fiscal stability. You will manage the accounting function, collaborate with other departments on budgeting and ROI analysis, and report directly to the Director of Finance and Operations. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS regulations, prepare for audits, and maintain proper documentation.
Your responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Manage daily financial operations, including accounting, financial analysis, and reconciliations (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, etc).
- Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements. Identify risks and opportunities, providing management with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Financial Operations & Compliance Management: Oversee tax compliance (state, federal, and Canadian), collaborate with the CPA, and manage the accounting software system. Ensure effective internal controls and recommend software updates as needed.
- Budgeting: Assist with the annual budgeting process for the commercial business units. Effectively communicate financial objectives and updates to internal stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: build and maintain strong relationships with external partners like the CPA, banks, insurance companies, and other financial service providers.

Required experience and skills
- Analytical: Skilled in interpreting financial results and performing detailed analysis. Meticulous attention to detail. Competent in analyzing extensive datasets to identify elements requiring further investigation and remediation.
- Interpersonal and communication: Outstanding collaborator with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively different stakeholders in an international environment. Strong presentation skills, capable of communicating complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences, both internally and externally.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes.
- Self-driven and Entrepreneurial: A "go figure it out" mentality—hands-on, agile, and solution-oriented, able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or related roles. People management experience preferred. Proven experience in successfully enhancing operational processes and implementing effective reporting systems. Experience in a global and multicultural environment is highly valued
Other Requirements: This is a hybrid role based out of our Burlington, MA office with at least 2-3 days per week in office for collaboration, training, or team events. The candidate must be eligible for employment in the United States, hold a valid US driver’s license and be able to travel domestically or internationally (to our HQ in the Netherland) 10% of the time.
