We are looking for a Financial Controller for our business units Retail and Identification Systems. From within our headquarters in Groenlo, you will work in a challenging and international environment, with sales offices in the USA, Middle East, China, Hong Kong and Europe. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for correct, timely and complete financial analyses and periodic reporting to stakeholders within the company about these two business units. Together with the Financial Control team, you are responsible for the Planning & Control cycle, preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasting, and together with the team you consolidate the results of all Business Units and perform the month end’s closings.
As a team, we are always finding ways to optimize the administrative organization and processes, and are open for your initiatives for improvements of our financial processes, to automize routine task and add value to our business.
You will be part of the Financial Control team of Nedap, a group of Financial Controllers and Accounting Employees working together with a strong focus on the business units. On a daily basis you will be in contact with colleagues from marketing, proposition management, Sales Operations, Purchasing, and Concern Control.
Within the team, you combine a Nedap-wide responsibility to “Achieve maximum scalability of our financial and administrative processes” with a focus on the two business units Retail and Identification Systems, working closely together with the Business Controller for these two Business units, to “strengthen the connection of Finance with the business”.

Required experience and skills
You are the proactive, professional financial controller who is able to zoom in on financial results, pro-actively supporting the business by judging on financial facts. You are able to interpret results, foresee and implement changes or cost reductions, and create commitment with your stakeholders by communicating open and cooperative. You are able to work with teams with different cultural backgrounds and you are able to further optimize financial processes. You are a pleasant person to work with, you communicate easily and you have persuasiveness, while being in the middle of the business, having a measurable impact on the performance of the two business units as well as Nedap-wide.
In addition, you have the following skills and capacities:
- Completed university education in finance or controlling;
- 3-5 years of relevant finance or controlling work experience within an international organization with sufficient complexity;
- You can plan and organize independently, and you have an "Always deliver" mentality with regard to deadlines;
- You are environmentally aware and you can work well together within a challenging, dynamic, international, sometimes ad hoc work environment;
- You are accurate, proactive and creative;
- Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language;
- You have an affinity with technology and innovation, you have a feeling for the business.
