As a Frontend Developer you contribute to the implementation of new features in our web applications. You mainly develop in HTML, CSS and Javascript, but you also have an affinity with the backend (Ruby on Rails). With your sense of functionality you can design an interface like no other. That’s how you contribute to an optimal user experience. You also contribute to a consistet user experience, so that it matches the other healthcare applications of Nedap Healthcare.

Your team

As Dossier tribe, we help healthcare providers to record, manage and update all relevant healthcare information relating to their clients. This enables them to collaborate effectively and to give stakeholders access to real-time insights when they need them. This makes obligatory administrative tasks much simpler and allows them to focus on their primary task: caring for people. 

We believe that by giving each client their own file, putting them at the centre and organising care around them, a more personal connection is created, more fun is had at work and the best possible care can be provided.

As a React developer within the Dossier team, you will collaborate with backend developers, UX'ers and designers to create intuitive solutions for care workers and physicians. You will be responsible for the architectural choices within a project and think along with the overall architecture so that most components can be reused. It appeals to you to get to know and understand the users and to work with them on location when possible. With this experience to build up, you are able to, often together with the UX team, translate a complex issue into a solution that is as simple as possible, set up a project for this and implement it.

Required experience and skills

You consider yourself a 'next level' Frontend Developer. You can put yourself in the user's shoes like no other and like to be thrown in at the deep end to work out new solutions. With us you get all the freedom in this.

Your tech stack includes: React, Redux, Javascript, React Testing Library, Webpack, Web components, Node, single-page applications, HTML, CSS/SASS, but is by no means limited to these.

You recognize yourself in the below profile:

  • You have experience with more complex React single-page applications
  • You have experience with test-driven javascript development
  • You can work in a structured way and you have experience with breaking down an application into reusable components
  • You have affinity with design and interactions (but you are not a Designer or UX'er)
  • You can make an implementation plan based on wishes or designs, ask for details where necessary, and oversee and execute the implementation
