Your team
Nedap Identification Systems (IDS) is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Fullstack Developer to help build our new modular multi-tenant cloud platform. This platform provides services for managing and processing data for parking guidance, enforcement and vehicle access control. The platform processes real-time information from wireless sensor networks and access systems that are used worldwide in Smart Parking or Smart City applications. The information is made available to our customers via portals and APIs. Important themes are information security, scalability, and UX design.
The platform is in full development and uses a modern technology stack. This consists of e.g.: Docker, Kafka, Redis, MySQL, Nginx, Elasticsearch and React. We use Java and Kotlin as main programming languages.
We are looking for a driven software developer who likes to be have diverse tasks and help develop both back-end services and front-end portals. At Nedap Identification Systems you will get a lot of freedom but also the responsibility for the components you develop.

Required experience and skills
You are an enthusiastic, driven and critical Junior Software Developer with just as much passion for software development as your future colleagues. Furthermore, you bring:
- A completed HBO or WO education in the direction of (Technical) Informatics;
- Proactive work attitude, focused on continuous improvement;
- Analytical minded and able to work in a structured way;
- You are familiar with SOA and EAI architectures;
- You want to find out more about with Java, Kotlin and React and integration technologies based on REST/JSON.
