At Nedap Healthcare we are building the operating system for the Dutch Healthcare sector. Twenty years ago, we started by offering a time tracking solution which has grown into the Ons Suite, a suite of distinct applications that cover most of the needs of Dutch care providers.


To create those solutions we believe in empowering people and strive to make decisions as a group, harnessing the wisdom of our diverse set of people. To do so we changed the way we work together from independent product teams to several interdependent tribes. Each tribe contains multiple products with their own identity that support one main process in the healthcare sector. Within the tribes there are developers that deliver input for the mobile solution. Your team will be working across these tribes as a specialized unit that provides the framework and structure for Mobile development.

As the Head of Mobile your goal is to unify the mobile and web applications. Currently web and mobile development are mostly separated within each of our tribes. You are responsible for reshaping our mobile experience and moving us to a future where web and mobile development are integrated and feel unified. This requires a new product vision for our mobile suite. You provide us with a clear direction that helps us focus on where we can offer the greatest value on mobile.


With this new vision in hand, you and your team can start working on a technical roadmap towards it. At the same time, you and our tribe leads will work on changing our organisational structure to ensure we integrate web and mobile in a way that is sustainable long-term.

  • Redefine our vision for the mobile experience of the Ons Suite and make it a reality
  • Create a technical roadmap to move towards our new vision while continuing to support our customers
  • Drive organisational change to integrate mobile and web development in the suite
  • Play a part in the recruitment of mobile talent
  • Be an ambassador for the mobile experience

Required experience and skills

We are looking for an ambassador for the mobile experience. A visionary with the ability to drive organizational change. Backed by data, you tell the story of Mobile and translate it to business success.

  • Over 8 years of experience in Product Development, specifically in Mobile applications.
  • Leadership experience; driving organizational change, and managing stakeholders.
  • Experience with UX / a UX mind-set
  • Affinity with Software Development
  • Our main language in the market group is English. Dutch proficiency would be a nice to have.
