The Nedap Security Management market group provides technology for access controls, intrusion detection and locker management so that everyone can work with more pleasure and success. As Back-end Developer, you will work in one of the three scrum teams and refactor the existing software as well as implement new functionality. This includes analysing and improving performance, building our REST/GraphQL APIs, streamlining the user experience and modernising our codebase.

At Nedap Security Management, you will work with different software teams on an Agile/Scrum basis. Clear communication is essential in our collaboration! The team consists of a nice mix of personalities, knowledge and skills. We are now looking for an experienced back-end developer who wants to help build our proposition.

Required experience and skills

Are you eager to learn, analytical and have an insatiable drive to challenge yourself and develop yourself? If you additionally have experience with the following stack, you are our new team member!

Good knowledge of Java;
Knowledge of Java Enterprise Edition, preferably from experience with JBoss or Wildfly;
Experience with web services, REST and JSON;
Experience with relational databases.

We also assume that you have an interest in the field of security and that you are proficient in English.
