What are you going to do?
Do you want to work with state-of-the-art techniques and help build AtWork within Security Management? And would you like to experience the freedom and responsibility to help make choices, take your own initiative and organise your own time? Then read our vacancy for Java Developer! As a Java Developer, you will be involved in building new features, maintaining the codebase, participating in the deployment and improving scalability, test capabilities, performance and user experience.
Atwork is the SaaS solution for physical Access Control with a multi-tenant, high-available microservice architecture. It has a modern user interface and allows authorised employees at a customer to hand out permission access to buildings or rooms from the cloud to a team of colleagues and visitors, for example. That permission is granted after identification of the person and enforced by an on-premises controller near the door.
Among other things, an interesting permissions system is currently being developed. Through this model, fine-level read and write permissions are managed within the system; who is allowed to open that door remotely or not, what personal information is hidden? Roles can be defined for this and the implementation was done based on SpiceDB (Google Zanzibar).
'We have managed it in terms of architecture. It is multi-tenant and redundant. We are also constantly working on new features and techniques.' (Mark, back-end developer)
