Your job as Nedap University
In this day and age, programming is a very valuable skill that you can move markets with. Nedap University is looking for scientific education beta students who have almost or just graduated and would like to upgrade their background with programming skills. Are you that particular beta talent? Then register now for our Nedap University!
The fifth intake of this in-house training programme for software developer will start in November. The most talented beta academics will have the opportunity to combine study and work in a job as a software developer. In addition to payment of your training, you will also get an employment contract with Nedap. Are you successfully completing your training? Then you are likely to get a permanent contract at one of the market groups.
On average, you will be working three days per week on the development of software within your market group. The other two days, you will be in class at the University of Twente to study the theory, which you will use in practice very soon after.
At the start of the training you will be developing a small app or write tests. After a few months, you will be able already to produce your own code in different applications. Together with your coach you will be working on your skills. Both hard programming skills and soft skills. After the successful completion of six modules in 18 months’ time, you may call yourself a high-end software developer!
Required experience and skills as Nedap University
We are looking for enthusiastic academics who:
- Did not graduate longer than two years ago;
- Have completed a beta education (e.g. Technical Physics, Maths, Bio-medical Technology);
- Have affinity with the development of software;
- Can adequately deal with freedom and responsibility;
- Like to work along three days a week on average, on the development of our products and attend lectures two days a week on average;
- Are not afraid to take a leap
