What are you going to do?

As a Privacy & Information Security Specialist within the Nedap Data Protection team, you’ll help strengthen our privacy, security, and compliance efforts. You’ll assist in monitoring, documenting, and improving processes related to data protection, regulations, and internal security controls. Additionally, you’ll help translate legal and organizational requirements into practical measures and policies.

  • Analyze: Map out existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Document: Support the documentation of data protection processes and internal security measures.
  • Policies & Guidelines: Contribute to writing policies, guidelines, and awareness materials on privacy and information security.
  • Translate: Convert legal requirements (such as GDPR) into practical workflows and tools.
  • Collaborate: Work with legal, technical, and business colleagues to ensure lasting privacy and compliance integration.

As a Privacy & Information Security Specialist, you’ll be part of the Data Protection Team within Healthcare. We focus on the policy and legal aspects of information security, ensuring that privacy legislation is not only followed but also works effectively in practice. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and pragmatic solutions are central.

Required experience and skills

You have an eye for detail and enjoy bringing structure to complex information. You work accurately, ask critical questions, and think about how rules and policies can be applied in practice.

You balance strategic thinking with hands-on action and thrive in an environment built on trust and responsibility. You’re eager to learn, communicative, and able to explain complex topics clearly.

You bring:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree (HBO/WO) in Law, Information Security, Security Management, or a related field.
  • Affinity: Interest in privacy, compliance, and security management.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English.
  • Availability: Three days per week, with at least two days spent on our campus in Groenlo.
