As a Hardware Engineer at Nedap Light Controls, you will work on designing new circuits, evaluating components and sub-circuits, performing tests on the products, making improvement proposals, documentation and test strategy for production. In this position you will be involved in the entire product development cycle.

Nedap Light Controls is the world's leading company in the field of UV lamp driver technology (electronic ballasts) for curing and disinfection applications. Your team

Nedap Light Controls consists of highly motivated colleagues with different backgrounds. Together we are responsible for developing and selling our solutions in Europe and North America. Self-reliance and own responsibility are very important within the team and we expect the same from you.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary R&D team at Light Controls that develops power electronics from 100W to 36kW. You will work closely with other hardware, software and mechanical engineers on the latest innovations in this field. 

The team works on projects from product idea to delivery of the final product. As a senior member of the team, you will take responsibility in projects and you will be responsible for creating a new product, starting with a topology to qualification.

Required experience and skills

We are looking for a talented, experienced and communicatively strong Electronics Developer with the vision and practical skills to bring electronic's innovative products to life.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:
  • You have a relevant, completed Bachelor's of Master's degree, such as Electrical Engineering;
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in power electronics;
  • You can work well independently;
  • You have experience with selection, application and integration of components;
  • You have experience with electromagnetic compliance (EMC) and electromagnetic immunity (EMI);
  • You have experience with design for standards (CE/UL);
  • You have experience with the design of magnetics (high frequency transformers and coils)
