Product Data Analyst

  • Location Groenlo/remote
  • Business unit Healthcare

As Product Data Analyst at Nedap Healthcare, you will help the organisation by generating insights into the use of our software. Our software suite 'Us' has undergone enormous growth in recent years. Both in numbers of customers and users, but also in diversity. We see an ever-increasing variety of customers and users (multiple healthcare sectors with many different roles, including care, medical, administrative and logistics staff), and at the same time we offer an increasingly broad product portfolio.

This scale and diversity makes it increasingly difficult to obtain a complete picture of the use of the software and thus to make the right decisions for further product development. This is why we are starting a new team to help the organisation create and make these insights accessible: How quickly are new features adopted? Which workflows could be more user-friendly? Which components are not yet used by a customer? These are some examples of data-driven insights that will help us improve our products and better support our customers.

Your team

You will be working in a small new team and will also be part of the Data Science guild. These are colleagues with different data expertises (Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Analysts) who work on different products and projects within Nedap Healthcare.

Within Nedap Healthcare there are a large number of product teams that develop and maintain software products. Because the data platform is relevant for all these teams, you will have a lot of contact with different colleagues outside your team.

In a post-coronary situation, you can work partly at home. The aim is to work at the office at least 2 days a week.

Our offer

We offer excellent primary and secondary employment conditions. You are responsible for your own working hours and vacations. Nobody keeps track of this, we rely on your own responsibility. In addition, we offer you the means to fulfill your responsibilities. Financially too, things are well arranged here. In addition to your salary and vacation allowance, Nedap offers a 13th month, a profit-sharing scheme and the option of shares. We also have a very attractive pension arrangement. But above all, we invest in your development! Nedap does not have a strict budget for your development. In addition to our extensive induction programme and personal development programme, we would like to explore your potential with you.

Required experience and skills

We are looking for a Product Data Analyst. You are driven by curiosity and love to make complex problems simple. You do this by immersing yourself in the domain (software use in healthcare), and combining this with excellent data manipulation and visualisation skills. Your work is varied. With hundreds of thousands of active users, you have an enormous amount of data at your disposal. This gives you plenty of scope to conduct research into interesting use cases that will provide us with new insights with which we can support our users in the healthcare sector even better. You will also support the various product teams by answering concrete data questions and by building dashboards that provide your colleagues with insight into the most important KPIs in the area of product use and adoption. Within Healthcare, you are one of the data experts and help others to find their way in using data. You will find out exactly where the needs lie and how you can best support them by organising workshops or sparring sessions for example.

You have the following skills and capabilities:

  • Good data manipulation and visualisation skills in Python;
  • Experience with Jupyter notebooks;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Nice to have: knowledge of and experience with BI concepts and BI-tooling (e.g. PowerBI);
  • Nice to have: affinity with UX and/or product development.
