Supporting care professionals is Nedap healthcare’s main mission. One of the aspects in this is our focus on medication safety. With the products we create, nurses can be assured that they are administering the right medication and are following the correct procedures. The Ons Medicatie product team is looking for an experienced Rails developer to help us implement new features, but also to keep an eye on the performance, quality and reliability of our codebase to match its growth.
We are a small and multidisciplinary team with a remote-first communication style. We try to limit the amount of meetings and prefer written communication. Our HQ is in Groenlo, The Netherlands, but you can work from any place you want, as long as there is a reasonable overlap with the CET/CEST timezone.
With varying experience levels in the teams, there is also the opportunity to do technical coaching and teaching, if that’s something you are interested in. We apply a user-centered development process and keep refining our products to make sure our customers stay happy and satisfied.
Obviously, we offer excellent primary and secondary conditions. You are responsible for your own working hours and holidays. Nobody keeps track, as we rely on your own accountability. Moreover, we offer you the means to fulfil your own responsibilities. We also have a good financial arrangement. Nedap does not only offer you a salary and holiday allowance, but also an annual bonus, dividends, and the option of shares. In addition, we have a very interesting pension arrangement. But most of all, we invest in your development! Nedap takes your development very seriously. We offer an extensive introduction program and a personal development journey in which we will look at your potential and future opportunities within Nedap.
Required experience and skills
- At least three years experience with Rails development.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently at your own pace.
- Being able to read Dutch is not required, but is considered a plus.
About Nedap Healthcare
