What are you going to do?
As a Retail Business Consultant, you play a crucial role in engaging new global retail clients across the European fashion industry. You take a consultative, value-driven approach, guiding clients through their RFID adoption journey and showing how our solutions can address their operational and strategic challenges. You collaborate with specialists across Nedap to shape solutions that truly support people working in stores, warehouses and across the retail value chain.
With your ability to navigate complex decision-making processes and build confidence at all levels, you contribute directly to the growth of our iD Cloud platform and the success of our customers.
Your responsibilities
- Engage & understand. Connect with European fashion retailers to understand their challenges and opportunities.
- Build new relationships. Proactively develop a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Create relevance. Identify new opportunities through outreach, professional networks and collaboration with partners.
- Guide decision-making. Inform and advise clients on the human and business impact of RFID.
- Inspire & demonstrate. Deliver presentations, workshops and demos tailored to client needs.
- Foster trust. Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Own your pipeline. Take responsibility for progressing prospects within your market.
- Enable success. Convert opportunities into long-term partnerships and ensure a smooth handover to implementation teams.
- Stay current. Follow industry developments to provide retailers with forward-looking advice.
Your team
You’ll join our international platform sales team focused on iD Cloud. From day one, a buddy and onboarding program help you feel at home. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced colleagues who partner with some of the world’s most iconic retailers. Our quarterly international sales meetings offer a space to share insights, learn from each other and develop professionally. This role offers the flexibility to work fully remotely.

Required experience and skills
Your consultative, people-centered approach helps retailers understand the true value of RFID and how it supports the people working in their operations. You’re comfortable navigating complex environments, asking the right questions and helping clients make confident decisions.
- At least 5 years of experience in an international environment with complex sales cycles.
- The ability to translate technology into clear, concrete value for clients.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to build trust through expertise and collaboration.
- A results-oriented mindset, with experience driving meaningful commercial outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills in business-level English; proficiency in Italian and/or French is a strong plus.
