As a Ruby-on-Rails Developer at Nedap Retail you will work in a team on a number of applications written in a combination of Ruby on Rails Backend and a Vue Front-end. One of the applications is used by retail employees worldwide to check the stock of their shops and make sure they have the right stock.  
Last year - at the start of the corona crisis - we took on a project to use the data coming from our security gates in a different way. Retailers were only allowed to admit a specific number of customers into the shop. We then developed a completely new application in a few weeks, based on existing data streams. The solution shows on a screen how many people are present in the shop and whether more are allowed in. Many retailers still use this solution in their shops.
