Retail
Last year - at the start of the corona crisis - we took on a project to use the data coming from our security gates in a different way. Retailers were only allowed to admit a specific number of customers into the shop. We then developed a completely new application in a few weeks, based on existing data streams. The solution shows on a screen how many people are present in the shop and whether more are allowed in. Many retailers still use this solution in their shops.
Nedap Retail develops innovative solutions for retailers worldwide. With our solutions for stock management and security, we guarantee retailers that they will always have the right product available for their customers. To achieve this, Nedap Retail develops state-of-the-art RF, RFID hardware and Cloud-Based software services. With this wonderful combination of hardware and software, we are able to provide shop employees, managers and the head office of retailers with the right information in an accessible manner.
Due to developments in the market, there is an opportunity to enlarge the ruby on rails team.
'The market we work in is cool. We are in the processes of the largest retailers worldwide. And how cool is it that thousands of devices communicate with your software?' (Eerde, Front-end Developer)
