What are you going to do?

At Nedap Healthcare, we believe that technology should make an impact for our customers. We use our technology to serve caregivers and nurses so they can focus on what matters most: helping their clients. With our solutions, we aim to connect caregivers and alleviate the burden of administrative tasks.

We are a market leader in long-term and elderly care, providing solutions for all our customers' different workflows. The various teams within Nedap Healthcare have full ownership of their applications and work with a lot of autonomy, freedom, and responsibility.

As the Platform Tribe, we support our product teams by building the right foundation. We offer generic solutions, best practices, and tools in focus areas such as APIs, maintenance, deployment, and metrics. We build generic solutions and automate repetitive and tedious tasks wherever possible.

At Nedap Healthcare, we believe in autonomy and using the right tool for the job. This has resulted in many different technologies and frameworks being used for different parts of the applications. For us in the Platform Tribe, this means our solutions should be as technology-independent as possible. However, if this is not feasible, we choose to standardize our applications.

To achieve this, and in addition to attract someone who is willing to take a lead role or the responsibility of managing a small team, we are looking for a Senior Ruby Developer to join our team.

Your team

The Platform Tribe consists of three teams, each with its own focus: Authentication/Authorization, APIs, and Continuous Deployment. Our developers work both remotely and locally, enjoying a high degree of freedom and responsibility, which requires self-discipline. We are looking for individuals ready to take on a lead role, who have a can-do mentality, are motivated to assist other teams, and remain calm under pressure. Essential qualities include ownership, big-picture thinking, pragmatism, a willingness to learn, and an automation mindset. Participation in an on-call service outside regular working hours is also required.
