Do you want to assist physiotherapists in planning a productive workday? Do you aim to reduce waiting lists for psychologists? Are you interested in working within a team of ambitious Software Developers who tackle complex challenges?
As a Ruby on Rails Developer on the Agenda team, you'll be building applications to solve logistical issues for therapists and coaches in long-term care. These problems are intricate due to the intersection of logistical optimization, regulations, and complex authorization requirements. It's your responsibility to devise straightforward solutions for these intricate problems.
You'll create new features by collaborating with clients, business partners, and other teams and are enthusiastic about taking the lead in projects!
Your team
Team Agenda is a cross-functional product team consisting of 7+ Developers, a UX Researcher, and a Product Owner (PO). We aim to come together at least one day per week at our campus in Groenlo. We maintain five apps within a larger suite. All our apps use Vue on the frontend and Rails on the backend. They are tested and served through a 26-minute pipeline to a containerized environment in our own server cluster. This suite is maintained by many more teams. We collaborate using a planning and organizational structure similar to the agile model employed by Spotify. We believe in the "you built it, you run it" philosophy. After a few months of onboarding, we'll ask you to participate in the on-call rotation. Approximately every 7 weeks, you'll be the point person for questions and disruptions. We work on one project at a time in iterations of 2 weeks. In addition to our main projects, each team member pursues their own interests, such as Docker deployments, Data Science, debating the benefits of bronze die plates in extruding dried pasta, etc.
Our offer
You will be working in an energetic work environment that inspires, with access to all the resources you need to perform your work optimally. You will have the flexibility to arrange your own workdays, and in addition, we offer excellent primary and secondary employment conditions.
- You will receive a thirteenth-month payment, participate in profit-sharing, which you can also use to obtain certificates of Nedap shares, and we provide an attractive pension scheme.
- You determine the work-life balance that suits you. We do not track working hours, days off, or vacation days. We trust you to take your own responsibility in this regard.
- Our people are the foundation of our success. That's why we are happy to invest in your development. We don't have a fixed development budget. In addition to participating in our comprehensive onboarding program, you will embark on a personal development journey, in which we explore your potential together and how we can further unfold it.
