Sales Development Representative (SDR) – DACH region

What are you going to do?

At Nedap Security we work on smart and innovative access systems that make organizations worldwide safer and more efficient. For our commercial team, which focuses on Key Accounts in Europe, we are looking for a driven Sales Development Representative for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). 

As SDR your primary focus is on creating high quality customer agreements regarding physical security. You work with large organizations such as multinationals and (semi) governmental organizations, where scale and complexity in the field of physical security come together. You play a crucial role in identifying and contacting stakeholders at key accounts, working closely with sales and marketing to fill the pipeline with high value customer appointments/opportunities. For this it is important that you can work a few days a week from our campus in Groenlo.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing and qualifying incoming leads through our CRM system HubSpot;
  • Proactively identifying and approaching both existing and new key accounts through tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator;
  • Supporting the DACH Sales team in expanding business with existing key accounts;
  • Scheduling appointments and building relationships with potential customers;
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date data management in HubSpot;
  • Collaborating with our German telemarketing partner to strengthen outreach efforts;
  • Participating in the organization of events in the DACH region such as customer days together with colleagues from Sales and Marketing;

Your team

You will become part of our Market-Solutions Team within Key Market Security with colleagues operating both from our headquarters and remotely from different parts of Europe. This team includes commercial professionals along the entire customer journey. That is, Marketing, SDR, Sales, Solution Consultants, Account Management and Customer Success. The Market-Solutions Team is led by our Market-Solutions Director and is responsible for winning new Key Accounts and growing our business with existing Key Accounts. 

Within the team you will be part of our DACH Sales Team, which consists of Sales Managers and the telemarketing agency. You will be responsible for Sales Development and work closely with the SDRs for other regions. You will be coached by our New Business Cluster Lead with whom you will have weekly contact about ongoing projects. 

Communication with team members will take place both in the office and online. We meet as a team at least several times a year to exchange experiences, celebrate successes and discuss plans and progress.

Required experience and skills

  • You are fluent in German and can communicate well in English. Dutch is a plus;
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in commercial direction or similar background;
  • A real hunter mentality and you get energy in making new contacts;
  • Perseverance and creativity to schedule appointments with key accounts;
  • Experience in outreach and proactive calling - or willing to learn and develop these skills;
  • Comfortable working in CRM tools - HubSpot is a plus;
  • Experience with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Lusha, is a plus;
  • Affinity with the access control or security technology industry is a bonus;
  • Interest in technology trends and digital solutions.
