Are you the Scrum Master (Team Coach) who can take our team to the next level? At Nedap Security, we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who can act as a Team Coach to get the best out of our development team. You won’t just facilitate Agile processes—you’ll ensure that everyone collaborates optimally and takes responsibility for delivering high-quality, scalable, robust, and high-performing solutions. Within our key market Security, we develop high-quality solutions offered both as on-premises and SaaS solutions. Our products focus on Identity and Access Management processes, aiming to simplify configuration and management for our clients. Your responsibilities

  • Coaching and development: You will coach the team and individual members to understand and embrace our way of working, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Connection and customer value: You’ll assist the Product Owner in providing clear and valuable input to the team, enabling them to focus on the “how” to translate user stories into concrete solutions that add value for our end customers. A customer-centric mindset is key here.
  • Collaboration and team dynamics: By observing, providing feedback, and offering guidance, you will facilitate collaboration within the team, across teams, and with stakeholders. You’ll help resolve inter-team obstacles and ensure streamlined processes. When challenges arise, you step in to facilitate constructive discussions. You’re not afraid to hold people accountable and encourage the team to deliver high-quality solutions as efficiently as possible.
  • Process optimization and innovation: You’ll continuously seek ways to optimize processes and collaboration to achieve the highest possible team velocity.

Your team

As a Scrum Master (Team Coach), you will work with a multidisciplinary team consisting of front-end, back-end, test engineers, and software architects to translate input from product management into real added value for our end customers. Of course, you won’t do this alone—you can always rely on the knowledge and expertise available within our organization. In addition to working closely with development teams, you’ll collaborate with Product Owners and the People Captain.

Required experience and skills

As a Scrum Master (Team Coach), you have experience in quickly grasping complex matters, and you thrive in a dynamic, technically challenging environment. Your strength lies in facilitating the team: you understand what the team needs to work effectively and gain energy from streamlining processes and removing obstacles. Whether it’s unclear priorities or technical roadblocks, you ensure the team can always move forward. With your support, the team can fully focus on delivering value without operational delays.

Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:
  • Experience as a Scrum Master: You have 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a technical or software-driven environment. You understand the dynamics of development teams and know how to effectively apply Agile principles.
  • Passion for continuous learning and improvement: You embody the Agile mindset and have a strong drive for continuous improvement. You’re curious, open to new ideas, and encourage the team to experiment and learn from each sprint.
  • Process optimization and tools: You have experience with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence and know how to optimize processes to help the team work as effectively as possible. You thrive on streamlined workflows and are always looking for ways to improve Agile processes.
  • Communication skills and connective leadership: As a Scrum Master, you communicate clearly and transparently. You can build bridges between the Product Owner, development team, and other stakeholders, connecting people in an inspiring way.
  • Language proficiency: You have excellent command of both Dutch and English.
Good to know: You are available for 32 -38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap and together with your team you will arrange your own working hours for a good work-life balance. You are present on our campus in Groenlo at least two to three times a week.
