Nedap iD Cloud is our software-platform that enables source to consumer item level visibility. Our solution currently helps retailers around the globe to best manage their merchandise availability across channels and from distribution centers right into the hands of a consumer.
The enabling technology for this is RFID, which makes it possible to seamlessly capture the journey of a product from the point of manufacturing, through the supply chain of a retailer until it transfers ownership to a consumer.
We are extending our business development team that is working on the supply chain-side of iD Cloud, where RFID technology is used in manufacturing and distribution centers to increase operational efficiency and accuracy.
As business developer, you are responsible for finding and converting interested retailers in users of our platform. You make sure they become enthusiastic users that advocate the benefits to other potential clients.
You are a connector between engineering and commerce and translate into language understandable to customers and workable/scalable solutions. You will work both strategically and tactically in this position.
Examples of concrete tasks are:
- Collecting input from the market;
- Testing solutions with international customers;
- Doing negotiations;
- Closing deals;
- Supervising projects;
- Moving from pilot projects to concrete roll-outs.
The multidisciplinary team is currently still small. You can therefore have a great influence on the success and growth of the platform. Fortunately, we have support from the many disciplines Nedap has, and we want to use this to further grow the team. We look forward to seeing you at our friendly and open office in Groenlo, but ultimately you decide how you work. In any case, a good cup of coffee is always waiting for you here at the office.

Required experience and skills
You are a true pioneer! You are self-starting and enjoy working in a position where not everything is framed yet. You are curious about the market and get energy not only from the result, but also from the way to get there. In addition, you do not mind traveling for your work; in this position you will be traveling about once or twice a month.
You recognize yourself in the following:
- A completed HBO or/and WO education, preferably in Business Administration/Technology;
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a Technology/software environment;
- Experience with conceptual selling of software solutions;
- Good command of the English language.
- Knowledge of the Automatic Identification industry (barcode and/or RFID) is a plus and or logistics/distribution in clothing.
