The different teams within Nedap Healthcare have full ownership of their applications and work with a lot of autonomy, freedom and responsibility. We as the Infra Tribe are easing the work of our product teams by building foundation blocks. We offer generic solutions, best practices, and tools in focus areas like APIs, maintenance, deployment, and metrics. We built generic solutions and automate repetitive and tedious tasks where that is possible.
At Nedap Healthcare we believe in autonomy and using the right tool for the job. This resulted in a lot of different technologies and frameworks being used for different parts of the applications. For us, as Infra Tribe that means our solutions should be as much technology-independent as possible. However, in case this is not possible we choose to standardize our applications. To achieve this we are focusing to strengthen our team with a Senior Java Developer right now.
The Infra tribe consist out of three different teams with all of them having their own focus. The current focus themes are Authentication/Authorization, API’s and Continuous Deployment. The developers in our tribe are a mix of remote and local and have a lot of freedom and responsibilities that requires a self-discipline.
