Senior full-stack Software Engineer (Registration team)
- Groenlo
- Healthcare
What are you going to do?
As a senior software engineer, you will be included in a young and dynamic team working on the 'Our Administration' product, within Nedap Healthcare's Back Office tribe. Our Administration is the financial and administrative heart of the healthcare organization and aims to simplify the increasingly complex administrative tasks for our clients, making healthcare administration more efficient and thereby improving the delivery of care.At its core, Our Administration is responsible for registering clients, employees, care delivered, reports and financial and administrative links. The application operates on a large scale, has a wide reach and is also the data source for many other applications inside and outside Nedap Healthcare. The application is complex and consists of a nice mix of front-end, backend and links to other systems.
Your role as a Senior Software Engineer within the team is very diverse, so there are many different aspects that may appeal to you. For example, you may get stuck into a technical challenge, describe and improve existing software or figure out how to bring about changes. In doing so, you may be given many responsibilities over a component or project. In addition, you will collaborate with other teams. To experience how customers work with our product, customer visits are encouraged.
Your responsibilities
- You design and implement functionalities that fit the work process of healthcare providers and administrative users. In doing so, you sometimes dive into complex issues to arrive at the best solution, working on both the backend and front-end.
- You will make strategic technical decisions for complex technical problems and lead the design and architecture of new systems.
- You collaborate with team members from different disciplines, sharing your knowledge and experience with the rest of the team.
- You communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to translate technical requirements into workable solutions.
- You have knowledge of the domain, your team and tribe's products, and the users of your software.
- You are a front-runner within the team for some larger issues, being the point of contact for that issue, setting the big picture and figuring out issues to work on.
Your team
The team consists of five developers, a Nedap University student and a UX'er. The Back Office tribe has 4 teams and a total of over 30 colleagues. Within the team you work with other teams inside and outside the tribe, the product owner, project lead and the tribe lead. Within the team we have a nice mix in age, experience and focus.
We work from our beautiful green office in Groenlo as well as it is possible to work from home. Some colleagues on your team, tribe and organization even work completely remote. We do appreciate it when we can get together at the office on a regular basis, where we sit together and have a walk around during the lunch break.
