At Nedap, we strongly believe that we can empower people using technology and create technology for life; we want to put people first, then technology.
Our mission is to make healthcare better together. We do this by connecting people, knowledge and technology. We dare to look beyond the current standards in healthcare and focus on sustainable relevance. Our solutions ensure that care providers can work more pleasantly and productively. This enables them to better utilize their individual potential and talents. In this way, we help people to take more control of their professional lives.
Within Nedap Healthcare, work is carried out within so-called tribes. Each tribe contains multiple products and processes that support one main process in healthcare.
Within our Logistics tribe, we contribute to the vision of Nedap Healthcare by helping people to give and receive the right care, in the right place at the right time. We strive for a balance between the needs of care recipients and care providers. We optimise the quality of care by matching people, time and resources efficiently, while at the same time increasing job satisfaction.
For the Ons Planning team, we are looking for a Ruby on Rails developer. Ons Planning offers care institutions the possibility to schedule thousands of care providers, care employees can view their own schedule and planning and we help team leaders to keep a grip on the hours to be worked.
In this role, you will take charge of ambitious back-end related projects from start to finish. This includes building features into existing products, refactoring existing functionality and porting existing products to a modern stack.
Team Our Planning is part of our Logistics Tribe. Within this tribe several multidisciplinary teams work closely together. Our teams all work hybrid. Partly from home and partly from our office in Groenlo. It is entirely up to you how you want to balance this. Of course, completely remote is also not a problem. But we do appreciate it when you drop by our beautiful office in Groenlo every now and then.
Obviously, we offer excellent primary and secondary conditions. You are responsible for your own working hours and holidays. Nobody keeps track, as we rely on your own accountability. Moreover, we offer you the means to fulfil your own responsibilities. We also have a good financial arrangement. Nedap does not only offer you a salary and holiday allowance, but also an annual bonus, dividends, and the option of shares. Moreover, we have a very interesting pension arrangement. But most of all, we invest in your development! Nedap takes your development very seriously. We offer an extensive introduction programme and a personal development journey, and we will gladly look at your potential with you.
Required experience and skills
We are looking for a visionary in the field of back-end architectures, technologies and processes. Someone who takes initiative and is able to share his or her insights with colleagues and thus know how to enthuse and inspire the team. You are someone who knows his or her way around the entire back-end landscape. Are you able to work well with a high degree of freedom and independence and do you have the drive to continuously develop yourself? Do you recognize yourself in the above and do you enjoy coaching and supporting your colleagues in the team to hone their back-end skills?
If so, we are looking for you!
