For the experienced and dynamic group at Test & Measurement Resources, we are looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive Software Engineer to contribute to the development of test cabinets and test fixtures. Your focus will be software development and making our test systems operational. In doing so, you will face a variety of technical challenges.

Your responsibilities and duties include:
  • You will draft specifications and review those of others;
  • You will develop the software for our test systems;
  • You will use TestStand and also be able to program in C# - C++;
  • You make our test systems operational;
  • You keep an overview of the architecture of software;
  • You contribute to a uniform way of working.

Your team

The T&M Group develops, builds and maintains State of the Art test and measurement equipment for products of various Market Groups within Nedap. The production for Nedap takes place takes place at various partners within and outside the Netherlands. Based on R&D specifications, we create Functional Testers, End of Line testers and Burn-in systems. Our contribution consists of both software and hardware development and ranges from specially developed table testers to universal test systems for use in self-developed tests. The development of test systems starts during the creative process of R&D and we perform maintenance throughout the product life cycle. Our team consists of a group of 15 professionals, all of whom have extensive experience and background in their specific fields. For our test systems, we frequently use National Instruments equipment and TestStand.

Required experience and skills

You are an entrepreneurial and proactive person. You have a problem-solving attitude and find issues interesting. So you must enjoy puzzling and figuring out how things can be done better. You are curious about production locations and willing to travel occasionally.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:
  • You have at least two years of work experience in electronics and/or engineering in a similar role;
  • You have experience with C# and/or C or other similar languages. You also have experience with Object-oriented programming;
  • MBO+ / HBO working and thinking level;
  • You have speak and write Dutch and English.
