As Software Test Engineer you will set up test plans for testing the software and the entire product. And you give substance to the automated testing of our hardware and software. From time to time you will also perform desk and field tests. You are therefore in direct contact with our customers, where field tests are performed. Together with the team you will work on the issues found and you are not satisfied until the qualities of our services and products are guaranteed. The systems are complex, but with your analytical ability you know your way around the high level of depth, test scenarios and test sizes. Work is done with DevOps, Robot Framework, and Gherkin test frameworks.

Our wearables measure animal behaviors such as feeding and rumination times and animal activity. As a Software Test Engineer at Livestock Management you will be working in an inspiring and international working environment. This position is located in the heart of the R&D team, where you will work closely with fellow test engineers and software developers. You will have the opportunity to make a difference by taking initiative. This assumes a lot of personal responsibility and ownership. You can see the consequences of changes and you can effortlessly separate main and minor issues. Just like your colleagues, you work proactively and accurately.Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:
- You have a completed college or university education;
- You have some experience as a Test Engineer and you are TMAP or ISTQB® certified;
- You have experience with Gherkin test environments and Robot Framework;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English language;
- Knowledge of test automation is a plus.
