Test Engineer – Integrations Tribe

In the role of Test Engineer, you collaborate with a team of developers, support staff, and external parties to ensure that it 'just works' and continues to work.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Test Engineer to strengthen the team responsible for external integrations. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing information exchange between different providers of medical software and answering technical questions from our customers.

As a Test Engineer, you are the bridge between our customers and our development team. You are someone who speaks fluently in the language of both software development and customer service. You understand the complexity of software integrations and can explain this information to our customers in an understandable manner.

Your team

Within Nedap Healthcare, "Tribe Integrations" is responsible for building and maintaining integrations with other software providers in healthcare and connections with partners building applications around the healthcare process.

One of the 3 teams within the tribe is responsible for eTransfer: the exchange of client data between hospitals, healthcare institutions, and home care organizations. You will become part of the development team responsible for the eTransfer components: a small, young team (currently 4 people) of enthusiastic developers.

Also within Healthcare, there is the Quality Advocates/ Test Engineer Guild: a group of people with a similar role in other tribes who can assist you in fulfilling your tasks.

What will you do?

  • Conduct end-to-end tests to ensure seamless information exchange between our software and the systems of other providers;
  • Collaborate closely with our development team to identify and resolve any bugs or issues;
  • Be responsible for answering technical questions from customers via the ticket system and/or other communication channels;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software and services by collecting customer feedback and communicating it to the development team.

Required experience and skills

  • You have a strong technical affinity and understanding of software development.
  • You are capable of analyzing and resolving technical issues, and may even have experience testing software.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • You can explain complex technical concepts in a understandable manner to customers with different technical backgrounds.
  • Experience in customer service, helpdesk, or support is a plus.
  • You have the ability to assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, resolving questions quickly and efficiently.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
  • You can prioritize and effectively multitask in a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You can quickly and accurately identify problems and implement solutions.
