Nedap Livestock Management is the global market leader in the automation of barn processes based on electronic animal identification. New functionalities are continuously developed and launched for our innovative automation solutions. Our smart tags measure animal behaviors such as feeding and rumination times, animal activity and heat. Our process computers receive and transmit this data to automate barn processes and show the farmer relevant animal information.
As a Test Engineer, you will responsible for the testing of hardware as well as firmware and software. Together with the team you will work on the issues found and you are not satisfied until the qualities of our products are guaranteed. The systems are complex, but with your analytical skills you know your way around.

As a Test Engineer at Livestock Management you will be working in an inspiring and international working environment. This position is located in the heart of the R&D team, where you will work closely with fellow test engineers and developers. You will have the opportunity to make a difference by taking initiative. Required experience and skills
You stand firm, know how to convince others and work proactively, analytically and accurately. As a good communicator, you are pleasantly visible within your team and the R&D department. You understand the consequences of changes and you can effortlessly separate main and minor issues.Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:
- You have several years of experience as a Test Engineer, preferably in an embedded environment;
- You have a completed university education, preferably Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or similar education;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English language;
- Knowledge of test automation is an advantage.
