What are you going to do?
Nedap is a publicly traded multinational with a rich history in healthcare. We are a technological leader in this industry, and to optimally support and relieve the burden on healthcare, there is a messaging module within the ONS Suite where professionals can communicate with each other. For this application, we are looking for a strong Senior UX and Visual Designer who places the user’s needs at the center and creates inspiring proposals accordingly.As a Senior UX Designer with a strong background in visual-design, you are responsible for the entire design process, from the initial service blueprint to the final implementation and adoption, working closely with the team.
You map out the needs of the end-user in terms of flows, design, and information.
You are data-driven and seek answers through qualitative and quantitative analyses in collaboration with a data-scientist.
Your responsibilities
- You are heavily involved in qualitative user research to understand the needs of the users.
- Translating functional requirements into product design.
- Creating inspiring and user-friendly interfaces that you validate.
- Leading and promoting UX within the development team.
- Conducting workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
Your team
As a Senior UX Designer, you will be part of the Messaging development team within the Logistics Tribe of Healthcare. Along with four other UX designers, you will be responsible for all logistical processes within the ONS Suite, representing Communication and Messaging.
You will work closely with the Product Owner and developers within the team, but also collaborate with other teams such as Account Management and Support.

Required experience and skills
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer who brings the experience and expertise to promote the UX and design process within the team. You are proactive, take initiative, and are capable of creating and communicating a vision. You are highly skilled in communication and can effectively understand the needs of users. Additionally, you can translate these insights into designs and communicate them to the team.- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in UX/design with a strong visual portfolio.
- Experience in setting up processes to map out requirements and user needs and translate them into designs and flows.
- Familiarity with methods like Service Blueprint, User Journeys, and Personas.
- Experience in conducting qualitative research and obtaining quantitative insights.
- Proficiency in Figma and experience working with a design system.
- Able to have client-contact in Dutch.
