Your focus is on setting up and conducting both qualitative and quantitative user research. You research the needs of all stakeholders, know how to monitor the right UX metrics to determine if adoption of a new feature is successful, and conduct usability testing with our users. In addition, you will support UX designers within your team in creating designs. You don't have to be a visual designer, but you can translate your research findings into solutions that really help our users, through wireframes or improved user flows, for example.
And just as important: you are an advocate for UX research, its value and the constant improvement of the usability of our products. You use your expertise to scale up and professionalize UX research within our organization.
Your teamThe UX team you will take your place on is part of the software services team. This is a friendly group of colleagues with different backgrounds, from development to design. The UX team consists of two enthusiastic UX designers, in which you will be the first researcher. With your knowledge of UX research you will lift the team to a higher level. Self-reliance and responsibility are of paramount importance to us. This means that you will search for knowledge and solutions yourself and will be given the space to do so. As a team, we also consider social safety and a healthy work-life balance very important. The 'culture' in our department and within our team can best be described as free, open and social.

Required experience and skillsAs a UX Researcher, you are proactive, get people on board with your story well, and are interested in the perceptions of our users and stakeholders. You go out and find a question on your own, and don't wait for someone to commission you. You can switch quickly and are good at keeping an overview. You are not a small cog in a big wheel, but can apply your expertise to a wide range of tasks and have a lot of impact. You have good communication skills, among others towards our international customers, but also in collaboration with the development, data and commercial teams.
In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:
- You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in UX research;
- You have experience with UX analytics and quantitative research methods, but also with conducting interviews and usability testing. Preferably in a B2B context;
- It is a great advantage if you have experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite or similar tools;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages;
