We believe positive impact follows naturally from executing our strategy well. That means taking responsibility for our footprint across the value chain and making sustainability part of everyday business.

Tomorrow in Motion

In 2025, we introduced Tomorrow in Motion: our sustainability story and guiding framework. It reflects our belief that sustainability is inherent to creating Technology for Life—and to how we work with customers, partners, and each other.

Technology for a changing world

We develop technology that helps customers adapt to a changing world. By combining domain knowledge with technological expertise, we create solutions that deliver value today and remain relevant tomorrow. Our technology helps customers do more with less—reducing waste, emissions, and inefficiencies across their operations.

Sustainable by default

We design products with sustainability built in from the start. From material choices to end of life, we focus on long-lasting, energy-efficient solutions that are easier to maintain, repair, and upgrade. By designing products that grow with our customers, we reduce environmental impact while extending product lifecycles.

Sustainable operations

We also take responsibility for our own footprint. We are working toward net-zero emissions in our operations by 2030, focusing on electrification, renewable energy, and improved energy efficiency across our offices and production facilities.

Sustainability report

We’ve published our Sustainability Report 2025. Sustainability is no longer a separate topic — it’s part of how we work. In our teams, our products and how we support customers.

In 2025, we brought our approach together in Tomorrow in Motion, built around three principles: Technology for a changing world, Sustainable by default, and Sustainable operations. The report shows how we translate this into action — across our operations, our products and our value chain.

Science-based targets

We are committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to ensure our climate actions align with global science. Our near-term emission reduction targets have been formally validated by the SBTi. We aim to reduce absolute greenhouse gas emissions from our direct operations (scope 1 and 2) by 95% by 2030, compared to a 2020 base year. In addition, we commit to reducing greenhouse gas emissions from purchased goods and services and the use of our sold products (scope 3) by 51.6% per euro value added within the same timeframe.

Ecovadis Sustainability Rating

We are proud to have been awarded a silver EcoVadis medal, placing us among the top 15% of companies worldwide for sustainability. This recognition highlights our dedication to upholding the highest environmental, social, and governance standards.
